BOOKING YOUR SESSION
Choose a session type and time that works for you and your family {view session types in Pricing}
Book your session by phone or email. Our simple questionnaire helps us to learn about your wishes. There is a fee for the session, $175, but you are under no obligation to make further purchases.
Choose a location. This could be your own back yard or a favourite haunt. We can help find suitable places, such as those with a sunset across the water or activities to keep the kids entertained. Call me for some suggestions to get you thinking.
YOUR KISSCHASEY SHOOT
Finalise location and clothing. We will call you about a week beforehand to discuss your session and confirm the location. We’ll also plan for any special props or activities and help you make decisions about what to wear. See Preparing for your shoot and What to wear in the FAQ for more information.
Arrive at your shoot and have a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF FUN!
Discounts and freebies! For each referral to a friend or family member that results in a booked session, you’ll receive a complimentary gift print or a 20% discount off your next session fee. Five referrals equals a FREE shoot! Also, I frequently donate sessions to local fundraising events, especially for schools or organisations that benefit children and their parents. Please do contact me if you are organising an event that requires sponsorship!
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Post production. After your session, we spend hours selecting the best from hundreds of images, and individually craft each selected image in Photoshop to make the colours pop and your eyes sparkle.
A sneaky peek. With your permission, about a week after your session we like to post a small sample on our blog to show work in progress – you can share this link with friends and family.
View your online gallery and order images. About two weeks after the shoot, you’ll receive a link to your finalised, private online gallery with instructions on how to order your images. The gallery is live for FOUR days and your order needs to be placed by the end of that time period. You can share this link with friends and family who might wish to place an order. Images are sold separately as digital files on a disk, or you can choose prints or canvases, both framed and unframed (see here for pricing). We have many beautiful products available to maximise the impact of your photos and to create beautiful keepsakes that will be treasured for years to come.
Printing and framing. Once payment is received your order is printed by a professional lab and expertly framed by local craftsmen. Because of the high quality and care taken, orders take from two to six weeks to complete (depending on the products selected). Your images are then collected from our studio in Kiama or mailed to your home or work address (plus postage and packaging fee).
