It is always a honor to spend time in a house with a new baby just arrived. I remember those first few weeks so vividly with both my children…so full of all the human emotions. There was a lot of love in this house and it was beautiful to witness and be part of even if just for an hour or two!

A delightful backyard wedding on the cliff tops in Coledale, near Wollongong on NSW’s South Coast.

I find wedding speeches fascinating and they are by far my favourite part of any wedding day.   It is maybe the only time in a person’s life when friends and family really have an opportunity to publicly declare their feelings towards the two people getting married. The speakers at this wedding were so eloquent with the choice of words to describe Is & Pete and the events of their lives. They excelled in painting a picture of two down to earth genuinely creative souls; so wonderfully in love with each other.

Not only the speeches but the whole day spoke volumes about these two. The day was a mirror to them and what a beautiful unique day it was.

Our family relocated from Sydney to Kiama Downs on the South Coast in April of this year and we’ve been working diligently to develop our client base down here on the South Coast.  So we were delighted when Kiama locals, Marnie and Troy approached us to photograph their wedding.

The details on this wedding were so well thought out. The beautifully made dresses, the hair and makeup, the colourful flower bouquets, the Sydney Glass Island venue in the middle of Sydney Harbour with it’s iconic backdrop of the bridge and opera house. Combine all this preparation with gorgeous people and a boatload of happy friends and family and you’ve got the perfect mix for an amazing day and beautiful images to remember it by!

A little bird tells me Marnie and Troy’s wedding is going to be featured in the Kiama Independent soon so be sure to look out for the article!

Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. ~Elizabeth Stone

These two dear parents wore their hearts on their sleeves proudly as I photographed their brand new baby boy. So much love in that house!

With baby number three just days away, this delightful family wanted to document this time when it was just the four of them.

The little girl has the best giggle i’ve ever heard and check out the little boy’s baby blues.. I heartbreaker in the making me thinks!
